Trolltunga Active is a premier outdoor adventure company, we are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides to lead our all year tours to the stunning Trolltunga. Our season kicks off with thrilling winter adventures in January, and we continue runs until early December, offering a unique opportunity to showcase your guiding skills in one of Norway's most breathtaking landscapes.

Your role:

• Guided hikes to Trolltunga, overnight tours with accommodation in Arctic Dome, via ferrata, zipline, kayaking, e-bike tours, snowhoes, and more.

• RIB guided fjordsafari on the Hardangerfjord

• Skischool instructor, guide at our winter activities.

• Work at the Trolltunga Active base

• Maintenance tasks

• Providing unforgettable nature experience for our clients

Qualifications:

• Education as a nature guide or equivalent/UIMBLA certification.

• Documented knowledge/approved courses within first aid and rescue.

• Completed basic first aid course in the last 2 years.

• You like people and are a good pedagogue

• Good language skills: Norwegian and English (fluent)

• You must enjoy and have great knowledge of being outdoor in all weather conditions

• You must be a responsible and social person that likes challenges

• Have a driving license

• It is an advantage if you have experience in kayaking and climbing and can present course certificate.

  For RIB boat driver applications:

• D5L certificate to operate a recreational boat with a hull length of 15 meter
  

Employment will be hourly, wage by appointment. All employees will receive thorough training in the work tasks.

We are searching for both full year and season workers;

• 8-10 guides during low season/winter (15th Oct-15th Des / 1 Jan - 1 May)

• +30 guides during summer (1 May-15th Oct)

Trolltunga Active is located in Odda at the breathtaking end of the Hardangerfjord, and we are the go-to adventure company for exploring the stunning Norwegian landscape. Our main attraction is the iconic Trolltunga viewpoint, which draws most of our guests to experience its awe-inspiring beauty. Here we offer overnigth tours, via ferrata climbing, and hiking the tourist trail.

In recent years, we’ve expanded our offerings to include a diverse range of activities, such as kayaking, RIB boat tours, and more. This growth reflects our commitment to providing exciting and varied experiences for both our visitors and guides. With our season running from early January to the middle of December, we have a dedicated team of +30 guides during peak times, with the capacity of accommodating up to 200 guests each day.
