About the CBS Department
CBS (Casing Barrier Solutions) is Interwell’s newly established department dedicated to delivering next-generation casing plug solutions. We have recently launched our CBS product line and are experiencing strong momentum, with high operational activity and new global contracts secured.
To support this growth, we are now looking for an adventurous and motivated individual who wants to join us in an early phase—helping shape, develop, and build CBS into a world-leading product line within Interwell. As a Technical Specialist CBS you will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting CBS operations both regionally and globally, onshore and offshore. In addition, you will provide technical support, maintain strong customer relationships, and contribute to the continuous development of the CBS product line.

Main Activities & Responsibilities: 

• Assist in job preparation, including planning and coordination.

• Assist in preparing equipment for offshore and onshore operations.

• Participate in customer meetings and provide technical support.

• Support the sales team in promoting and presenting CBS products to customers.

• Prepare and maintain all relevant offshore/onshore documentation.

• Provide customer support throughout the installation phase, offshore and onshore.

• Submit daily reports to the Operations Manager or designated duty personnel.

• Report job experiences and any non-conformances after each assignment.

• Update run records and job-related documentation.

• Complete job reports and installation drawings following each installation.

• Approve equipment that has been installed or run offshore.

• Provide training and operational support for CBS products across global regions.

• Support the workshop when required.

• Travel to Trondheim to support the CBS project team.

• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and adhere to Interwell policies and standards.

Requirements: 

• Technical college degree or equivalent education.

• Relevant field experience within open hole, cased hole, and/or fishing operations.

• Solid knowledge of downhole tools.

• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.

• Ability to adapt to new challenges and willingness to travel.

• A proactive mindset and interest in joining a growing department.
