Take the Lead on Our Fleet Maintenance System
The energy transition towards renewables is ongoing and over many years, Fred. Olsen Windcarrier has been a key part of this exciting journey. We are trusted worldwide for delivering precise marine operations and supporting global partners with installation and maintenance services for offshore wind parks – heavier, higher, faster. While employed in Fred. Olsen Windcarrier, the role will also support our sister company, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, ensuring close alignment across fleets and leveraging our shared maritime expertise.
To strengthen our future capabilities, we are now looking for an experienced Planned Maintenance leader to take ownership of and further develop the STAR Suite within our organization. We have recently implemented STAR as our platform for planned maintenance and are seeking someone who can ensure effective use and administration across all disciplines.
STAR Suite consists of multiple applications to support vessel maintenance, procurement, project execution, HSEQ and analytics. The system is used by all employees and integrates with third-party services, requiring coordinated management and support.
Office location will be in Oslo.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the planned maintenance system Star within Fred. Olsen offices and vessels, including daily operations, upgrades and projects
- Act as the owner’s representative towards the supplier
- Collaborate closely with Technical Operation, Procurement, HSEQ and Project Execution departments.
- Develop procedures, methodologies, and plans for continuous improvement of the fleet.
- Lead the internal support organisation and manage new project, upgrades and improvements
Your profile:
- Technical maritime education with sea-service, preferably with relevant ship management experience
- Solid background and interest for structured use of Planned Maintenance Systems
- Up to date with technological developments and able to shape the future path of STAR
- Outgoing, curious and a strong team player
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Proven ability to work efficiently and lead teams
- High integrity and strong sense of responsibility
- Flexible to travel as required
