Artist Profile:
Huang Yuxing, a painter, was born in Beijing in 1975. He graduated from the Mural Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2000. His paintings are never confined by any specific rules, but rather flow freely from his heart, emerging naturally during the creative process. Water, whirlpools, forests, minerals, crystals, and even architecture are all his favorite themes. He uses psychedelic, vibrant fluorescent colors to construct mysterious landscapes. The entire painting is visually striking, while also interpreting his reflections on nature and philosophy.
The selected work for this collaboration, "Bubble," stems from Huang Yuxing's exploration of the themes of "rivers" and "whirlpools." With boundless imagination, he depicts bubbles rising as river water churns, approaching the subject from a microscopic perspective to reflect the individual human experience.
Huang Yuxing also collaborated with Dior in 2024 to design a Lady Dior Art handbag, which is highly collectible.
