What Will You Work On?
As the Global ROV Asset Manager, you will be at the heart of IKM Subsea’s technical and operational performance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Global Asset Oversight: Full responsibility for all offshore and onshore ROV equipment, ensuring it is maintained, certified, and compliant with industry standards
- Global Management: This position is part of the IKM Subsea Global Management Group and will have a key voice into the major strategic decisions for the entire company.
- Asset Department Manager: Lead the asset department and provide strategic guidance to the regional technical teams.
- CapEx & Procurement: Manage global CapEx planning and requisitions, and align fleet procurement strategies to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality
- Project Support: Oversee FATs, mobilizations, and acceptance testing for new builds, and ensure technical readiness for all client projects
- Client & Sales Interface: Provide technical input for tenders and participate in client meetings to ensure alignment between asset capabilities and project needs
- New ROVs: Project Manage the "Merlin Next Gen" program to upgrade and aquire more ROV systems to the fleet.
- Site Visits: The position requires some travelling to our main operational areas as: Norway, Brazil, Middle East and Singapore.
Who Are We Looking For?
We seek individuals who are experienced and have extensive technical and/or operational knowledge of ROV systems. Position is situated at our HQ in Bryne. Candidates not residing (or planning to) in Stavanger/Bryne area will not be considered.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5-10+ years of experience with ROV offshore experience.
- Preferably a University degree within technical, administrative or business.
- Familiarity with applicable offshore legislation, standards, and certification requirement.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written Norwegian is preferred, though not strictly required.
