We are looking for a Test Engineer to strengthen HMH team.

Who are you?
You are dedicated Test Engineer who likes working with both Developers and Product responsible to make sure we deliver quality products. You have a structured approach and attention to details. 

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor/Master in relevant field. Technical relevant experience can compensate for the lack of formal education

• Knowledge of drilling machines and drilling processes

• Experience with PLC (Step 7/TIA) or lab setup/simulator is an advantage

• Curious about new technology, and a quick learner

• Strong Communication skills

• Structured, engaged with attention to detail and independent

• Flexible, and motivated by working with continuous improvements

• Fluent in English both written and verbal. Norwegian language is a plus

Your Responsabilities:

• Collaborate with Developers and Product Owners: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery, aligning testing efforts with product requirements and development timelines.

• Design and Execute Test Plans: Develop structured test cases and perform manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability, especially in systems related to drilling machines.

• Simulate and Validate Industrial Processes: Utilize lab setups, simulators, or PLC environments (e.g., Step 7/TIA) to replicate drilling scenarios and verify system behaviour under realistic conditions.

• Drive Continuous Improvement in Testing Practices: Identify areas for improvement in testing workflows, tools, and documentation, contributing to a culture of quality and innovation.
