We are looking for an experienced full stack developer to join us in achieving our goal to help save one million lives every year by 2030.

The position will be based in Stavanger, Norway, and will report to the Engineering Manager of the Digital Business.

As part of our Digital Business unit, you will help build a digital platform that enables organizations to efficiently manage, monitor, and optimize fleets of life-saving training stations deployed across multiple locations. This solution empowers healthcare providers and organizations to deliver high-quality training, improve operational efficiency, and ensure readiness for critical situations.

The Digital Business team is positioned to rise to these challenges and realize our mission using digital technology. We focus our digital product development efforts to achieve better alignment, maximized synergies, quicker time to market, and, most of all, a connected portfolio of offerings. This requires strong leadership and coordination across teams with different but linked objectives.

We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation who can work effectively in an innovative cross-functional team. You will design and implement key parts of our digital platforms, influence technical decision-making, and interact with other product developers and teams in a fast-paced, impact-focused environment.
As a senior developer, you will support your team to make a meaningful impact on our mission. In all we do, we aim to foster joint ownership for development, product management, and design. Your communication and cooperation skills will play a central role in strengthening this link. You will also build an effective partnership with Product and Design Leadership based on a clear understanding of your respective responsibilities and mutual expectations.
While our technology stack is constantly evolving, we are currently using predominantly C# .NET in an Azure infrastructure, along with React on the frontend. While experience with these specific technologies is a plus, your deep understanding of and experience with cloud technology, database and API design, as well as general software design, product development, and testing will be most important in your role.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and designers to understand the goals and needs that inform our solutions.

• Research solution approaches and contribute to inclusive discussions with teams and stakeholders to make informed technical decisions.

• Contribute to the overall system architecture and develop key functionality according to priorities, in close alignment with other teams and the Tech and Data organization.

• Champion software engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

• Integrate security and data privacy considerations into all aspects of development.

• Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and technologies used by the team.

• Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to digital platforms and cloud solutions.

• Refactor, maintain, and document solutions to ensure optimal operation and high-quality delivery.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

•  At least 5 years of relevant experience in software development, preferably in a senior or lead role.

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and cross-functional team environment.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering real value to customers.

• Motivated by continuous learning and professional growth.

• Structured, disciplined, and goal-oriented, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.

• Embrace agile methodologies and contribute to a culture of innovation and improvement.

• Demonstrated experience balancing high-level architecture, hands-on development, and ongoing maintenance.

• Deep expertise in both frontend and backend development (full stack), with a preference for modular, scalable solutions.

• Advanced skills in C# .NET development.

• Proficiency in modern frontend technologies, especially React.

• Solid experience with database design, implementation, and optimization.

• Comfortable working with cloud-based architectures and distributed systems.

Bonus points for:

• Experience developing and deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure.

• Familiarity with customer identity and access management (CIAM) concepts.

• Experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions for CI/CD.

• Exposure to other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).

• Experience with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development.

• Experience designing for performance and scalability in large-scale systems.

• Hands-on experience building search features or working with search technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch, AzureCognitive Search).

• Proven track record optimizing applications for speed, reliability, and scalability.

• Experience with mobile development (e.g., React Native or similar frameworks).
