Are you our new HR Advisor?

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive HR Advisor to join our HR team in Sandefjord. In this role, you will work closely with the HR Manager Relations to manage and prevent sick leave through effective training and support. Additionally, you will play a role in assisting with the practical aspects of International Jotun employees relocating to Norway (Mobility).
As an HR Advisor, you will be at the forefront of fostering a healthy work environment and ensuring our employees feel supported and valued. This includes meeting employees and managers with an open mind, a humble approach and a clear understanding of your role.
Your ability to analyse data, provide insightful reports, and collaborate with various stakeholders will be key to your success. If you are empathic, solution-oriented, and service-minded, this may be the right position for you!
Responsibilities
Sick leave
Your main focus in this role will be sick leave. In close collaboration with the HR Manager Relations, you will work to prevent sick leave through training of employees and managers. You will also work closely with Nav, monitor sick leave in the company and take active action where needed. In other words, both proactive and reactive measures.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Monitor sick leave, contact the relevant manager and the sick employee with information in the event of 14 days of sick leave
Initiate early meetings with Nav, the manager and the sick employee when the sick leave seems to last more than a month
Manage training of employees and managers, ensuring basic knowledge of what is expected and from whom, when sick leave occurs
Keep in contact with managers in need of support and sparring
Have close contact and collaboration with Nav Arbeidslivssenter
Extract statistics, identify sick leave drivers and analyse them
Collect data for monthly and quarterly reports
Mobility
To aid our HR Advisor responsible for Mobility, some of your responsibilities will include:
Contribute with practical tasks related to mobility in and out of Norway
Meet with international employees upon arrival in Sandefjord
Ensure access to housing, including being present at take-over along with landlord
Guide the international employee in practical things related to their new everyday life in Norway when needed
Be solution-oriented, energetic and service-minded

You are independent and self-confident. You enjoy helping others navigate challenging situations and are curious to understand the full picture when resolving issues. You are humble in your meetings with others and their challenges, and you communicate in a respectful and professional manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in HR, Psychology, Child Welfare or similar
Minimum 5 years’ experience in relation-oriented professions such as healthcare, customer service, or management
Leadership experience in these areas will also be highly valued
Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and oral
