Are you passionate about sharing Norway’s nature and outdoor adventures with international guests?

Good news! Norway Adventures is hiring outdoor guides for the summer 2026 season.

We are a tour operator based in some of Norway’s most beautiful fjord regions, including Nordfjord and the Sunnmøre Alps, but also in Jotunheimen National Park and other parts of Norway. We take our guests off the beaten track on guided day and multi-day tours, by foot, e-bike, kayak or via ferrata climbing.

What you will do
As an outdoor guide, you’ll guide activities and multi-day tours, helping our guests discover Norway. You may guide tours ranging from 3 hours to 7 days or longer, all centered on outdoor exploration. Depending on your background, your responsibilities can include:

• Preparing and packing for tours

• Guiding guests safely

• Reporting back to the head of guides

Most contracts start in May 2026 and run until the end of September.

Job requirements

• You have previous experience working as a kayak guide and/or via ferrata/rock climbing guiding.

• You have completed first aid training and have the certification to show for it

• You have previous experience in leading groups

• You have extensive personal experience with the outdoors, both single and multi-day tours

• You have good social antennas

• You like to give your guests an experience that they will always remember

• You value team work

• You have the skills to self-assess your own abilities in order to create safe experiences for our clients.

• You speak English fluently

• You have a driver's license
  

Not required, but definitely an advantage if you have the following:

• NPF aktivitetsleder Hav or similar

• NKF klatreinstruktør sport 1 or similar

• Experience as a tour leader for multi-day tours

• Experience as an e-bike tour leader

• Formal outdoor education

• Good cultural knowledge of Norway
