"This is a hand-carved side chair in a Rococo Revival style, likely made in the late 20th or early
21st century, based on the crispness of the carving, machine-tool evidence, and overall condition.
The backrest features an ornate crest with a shell motif, flanked by carved acanthus leaves and a
stylized grape cluster. Cabriole legs with floral details and a scrolled apron complete the
ornamental look.
While stylistically referencing 18th-century French Louis XV designs, the chair's construction
techniques, wood finish, and upholstery indicate that it is a more recent reproduction or
decorative piece, probably made for the decorative furnishings market."
