Shane Gray (Joe Jonas):
Shane is a talented singer and pop star sensation who is dripping with the power of new fame, with a huge chip on his shoulder. Unfortunately, Shane's egotistical exploits have earned him a bad reputation, and just may lose him his lucrative record contract. To rehabilitate his image, Shane reluctantly agrees to take a job as a celebrity instructor at his uncle's music camp, Camp Rock. During his summer stint, Shane gets back to his roots, both personally and professionally, and begins to get back to the genuinely sweet and talented guy he has always been.
Nate (Nick Jonas):
Nate is a member of the boy band Connect Three and the clear leader of the group. He takes control of the situation involving Shane's deteriorating relationship with the press and encourages him to attend Camp Rock in order to improve his tarnished image.

Jason is the cute and a little bit out there member of the boy band Connect Three.
Mitchie (Demi Lovato):
Mitchie is a fantastic singer and songwriter who longs to attend Camp Rock, an elite summer camp for aspiring musicians, but her family can't afford it. However, when her caterer mom gets a job as the camp cook, Mitchie's dream comes true.
Caitlyn Geller (Alyson Stoner):
Caitlyn is a girl who attends Camp Rock. She was once Tess's friend, but even though she pretends that she doesn't care about what Tess thinks, she's hurt by her mean-spirited jibes. She is quietly disdainful when Mitchie allows Tess to overshadow her own talent.
