DPA 4099 CORE+ er den nye varianten av klassikeren fra danske DPA. Det er en instrumentmikrofon som er lagd for å tåle høyt lydnivå med minimal støy og har lenge vært bransjestandarden til live-bruk. Den kan fås med feste til piano, gitar, fiolin, cello, og flere.
Den er IP58 sertifisert, som vil si at den er har begrenset beskyttelse mot støv og er vanntett.

4099 CORE+ Mic, Loud SPL (red marking on gooseneck) – used to close-mic most types of acoustical instruments. – From the harp to the drums and everything in between. With CORE+, this mic has a max SPL, peak before clipping of 145 dB.
