WELCOMING YOU TO THE TEAM

You'll be joining a highly skilled and collaborative team of tender engineers and technical specialists, located in Oslo. Our team supports the Tendering and Sales departments by delivering competitive and complete technical and cost proposals for submarine and underground cable installation projects. Your workplace will be at our Oslo office, reporting directly to Stener Døhlen, Section Manager.

GETTING A FLYING START

To thrive in Installation Tender Engineering, you bring solid technical and commercial experience from the energy or infrastructure sectors. You have a background in engineering, project-driven environments, and are familiar with installation planning, risk assessment, and subcontractor engagement. Your experience likely includes international projects, and ideally involves interconnectors, offshore wind, or power-from-shore solutions. You're comfortable managing technical complexity and maintaining a focus on quality and safety. Your structured mindset, paired with strong communication and collaboration skills, will set you up for success.

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

As an Installation Tender Engineer, you'll contribute to tender teams by delivering technical installation solutions, cost estimations, and risk assessments for upcoming projects.

Your role includes:
* Analyzing client specifications and defining scope of work
* Applying company tender procedures, templates, and project models
* Preparing method statements and ensuring proper documentation reviews
* Coordinating with subcontractors and comparing offers
* Working closely with internal teams such as marine, trenching, accessories, and procurement

Your analytical thinking and technical acumen will help us provide accurate, competitive tenders and reduce project risk. You may also contribute to improving our tools, base data, and tendering methodology. You'll help us promote quality, HSE, and innovation at every stage.

YOUR STARTING POINT

• Master's degree in Engineering (MSc or "Sivilingeniør")
• 5+ years of relevant experience in cable installation, offshore construction, or similar fields
• Familiar with tendering processes and project-driven organizations
• Knowledge of cable installation techniques and industry tools
• Ability to work across disciplines and communicate effectively
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Norwegian is an advantage
