The Warm Audio Fen-tone is inspired by a classic '50s ribbon mic built with upgraded, modern components to deliver iconic tones in a stereo pair. Upgraded premium components including a custom Japanese ribbon, Neodymium magnet, and CineMag USA transformer capture classic sounds heard on stereo guitars, stereo drum overheads, and group horns. A 26 dB JFET in-line preamp enables active use with low-gain preamps.

Delivering rich detail at high SPLs, the figure-8 Fen-tone is ideal for many instruments, especially stereo guitar cabs, horns, stereo drum overheads, stereo piano setups, and more. In addition to custom, premium components, Fen-tone includes an in-line Warm Lifter preamp to add 26dB of clean, analog gain to setups with inferior or underpowered preamps.
