Beskrivelse av varen
Hei! Jeg heter Melissa. Jeg er dyrepasser fra England, bosatt på Spikkestad i skogen på en liten gård.
Feel free to get in touch if you're looking for a reliable, caring and experienced local dog walker, boarder / daycare or cat sitter. More information can be found on Rover.com. Please contact me directly, rather than through Rover though (I'm marked as 'unavailable' there since I'm only taking bookings through my business): https://www.rover.com/members/melissa-p-profesjonelt-hunde-og-kattepass/
Cat sitting
For around one hour:
- up to 25 min. drive - 290 kr. or 330 kr. during holidays
- over 25 min. drive up to 45 min. - 320 kr. or 360 kr. during holidays
(occasionally cat sitting will be for slightly less than an hour, e.g. if the cat isn't feeling social, or sometimes during the holidays).
Dog walking
For dogs over one year old, I do both shorter and longer walks and have experience with lots of different breeds and personalities. Prices start at 100 kr. for half an hour, plus a small travel cost.
Boarding and daycare (for dogs only)
Both from 400 kr. per night / day for small dogs, then 500 kr. during holidays. It's half-price for a second or third; for high energy / bigger dogs / those with particular needs, it's + 100 kr. per night / day.
Coming soon regarding boarding and daycare: available year-round from November 10th. I'm moving along with my partner to a small property with a garden bordering the farm. The dogs will still have access to the farm and farmhouse where I have both an art studio and shared kitchen garden, and I'll mostly take just one booking at a time due to the downsizing (max. three small dogs or two medium / big). Our cat is staying at the farmhouse with my friend and former housemate who has a piano workshop and tuning service; he works from home sometimes, and I also worked in this field before pet sitting was my main focus as a job. Prior to this I worked in service, retail, education and the media - mostly pertaining to art, design and crafts in North Yorkshire and Berlin.
Also new, from 2027: pet portrait commissions in pencil, watercolour and mixed media. I have a degree in Fine Art, and studied Art and Design in the UK and Germany for six years (will add some more examples of my work next year).
Services include regular updates (if you'd like) with photos by email or whatsapp. If you are interested in any of my pet sitting services, a meet & greet can be arranged in advance of any possible bookings. Hope to hear from you and meet some more lovely pets and people :)
Med vennlig hilsen,
Melissa
