Dynabeads products produced in Norway are used in break-through technologies, lifesaving assays and clinical applications. Our customers are world leading pharma and diagnostics companies that have chosen us as their partner. We are now looking for a new colleague to join the Portfolio Expansion team, a part of Technical Operations, where we offer a unique possibility to work with one the most exciting technologies within biotechnology. Our work is both rewarding and challenging in an international environment with large opportunity for professional and personal growth. 


The Portfolio Expansion team consists of 11 members with strong scientific background and process expertise. We work in dynamic cross-functional teams, where we are responsible for the development, scale up, implementation and validation of new technologies and processes, including technology transfer, and support of products for life science, diagnostics and clinical markets. This position will be central for process development towards customers in a regulated market. Your expertise in GMP and/or other regulatory standards will be instrumental throughout our collaboration with internal and external customers. 



What are you going to do?


• Serve as Operations lead and Subject Matter Expert in new production introduction projects in cross-functional teams (such as R&D, Manufacturing, Business, QA etc.), including our Customers. 

• Perform process development, scale up, tech transfer and validation according to ISO13485.

• Drive innovation and actively seek out new and creative solutions to problems.

• Prepare and present data associated with manufacturing processes to internal and external clients.



What do you need to succeed?


You encourage and inspire progress with a “Team first” mindset. You take initiative in the team, but also work in a structured and self-driven manner. You have excellent stakeholder management skills gained from relevant work experience as well. You work, communicate and influence effectively with high performing cross functional teams in a matrix organisation. To be successful in this role, we believe you have the following formal qualifications:


• Master of Science or higher within industrial biotechnology, chemical engineering or similar with minimum 5 years of industrial experience in process technology or relevant field.

• Expertise in Good Manufacturing Practice as well as regulatory guidelines and standards related to medical devices and drug substances.

• Experience with Quality by Design and Life Cycle approach to Process Validation.

• Excellent skills in statistical experimental design and data analysis tools.

• Proficiency in process technology.

• Fluent in both spoken and written English and a Scandinavian language with excellent technical writing skills.
