Through UiO have have an M.Sc. in Immunology from OUS and a PhD in Cell Biology. After 10 years of experience in various biotech start-up companies, it was exciting to start work in Thermo Fisher, a big global life sciences company. As a leader of our Cell Therapy R&D department I am especially motivated by being part of developing a knowledgeable and engaged team, with the common goal of developing product for cell therapy customers to best serve patients with cancer or autoimmune diseases.

My job is to make sure we develop and produce high quality products consistently and in a reproducible manner. The fact that the product itself is a Norwegian invention, and the manufacturing is located in Norway, is something I think we should be very proud of. Here, I get to develop my leadership and collaboration skills by participating in both scientific and administrative teamwork, while I also have to take initiative and responsibility for my own tasks to ensure we reach our common goals.

I am a Project Manager in the Client Services team based here in Oslo, assisting customers with their purchasing requirements for DynabeadsTM products. Having moved to Norway from Australia in 2018, I believe I am making the most of the opportunities afforded to me by Thermo Fisher Scientific Norway. The broad use of our products across cell therapeutics, immunodiagnostic and molecular diagnostic applications creates an interesting, dynamic working environment to be a part of each day.

I work as a Quality Specialist in the Quality Assurance department. I am motivated by the constant growth and accomplishments that the employees at Site Norway have achieved, especially the innovative product development and importantly the positive team spirit. Employees are encouraged to share their ideas and to practice continuous improvement strategies. This motivates me to freely express my ideas and bring them to life.
