General Manager, Business Controller Gas Solutions

We are looking for a General Manager to compliment the Senior Management team for Wärtsilä Gas Solutions. Our new General Manager will be responsible for leading, managing and developing the Finance & Control function within Wärtsilä Gas Solutions. You will participate in defining and implementing global strategies and action plans for the Gas Solutions Business Line. In addition, you will have the responsibility for financial planning and follow up in the business.

Our new General Manager will hold the business units accountable for delivering business results and acting in the best interests of Wärtsilä. You will partner with key stakeholders to enable them to make informed decisions that will maximize business results. Additionally, you will proactively work to enable cross-organizational cooperation.

The ideal candidate has a BSc or MSc in economics, and 5 – 10 years’ experience in a similar position. You have experience with working in international environments, and it is an advantage if you have experience with change management. You consider yourself to be result oriented and proactive. Further, you have strong IT skills, and preferably experience with SAP.
