About us:

We are looking for a backend developer for our team in Telenor Norway. This team focuses on developing digital products for the family segment. This includes anyone who has a shared household and has requirements of organizing solutions day to day. Our current product portfolio includes:

• Min Familie: Organize Life. Through partners like Matprat and Posten we are building an ecosystem of smart solutions which make life easier for our core segment. Some of the popular features of Min Familie are shared calendars and shopping lists.
• Min Fotball: All Norwegian football right in the pocket. Min Fotball is a collaboration between Norges Fotballforbund and Telenor and gives you an overview of all football matches happening in the country. This app currently reaches 250k+ users during football season.
• TIA: Our in-development digital assistant with voice UI which will support Min Familie and other Telenor services. As we grow, more products will be added to this list.

What you will be doing:
Work as a hands-on Backend developer. Your core tasks are to make sure our backend systems are continuously developed, maintained and kept running smoothly. Our team today consists of product managers, designers, front and backend developers, business managers and product marketing functions. We are organized in small product teams, similar to Spotify?s squad model.

You will be responsible for coordinating all backend tasks for the services you are involved in, and execute these tasks, prioritizing through our development sprints.

This will include tasks such as:

• Developing new features and API?s
• Integrating with external partner API?s
• Feature estimation and prioritization
• Coordinating releases and QA

We are looking for someone who has some or all of these qualifications: 

• A Master/Bachelor?s degree in software development or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience with C#, .Net, Go, Python, Ruby or similar languages
• Experience in relational and/or non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Experience from unit testing
• Experience with Microservice architecture
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform or possesses a Cloud computing certificate
• Comfortable to use Git for code management
• API design
• Some knowledge in Linux, Docker, Kubernetes

It is a bonus if you have:

• Experience with GraphQL
• An understanding of OAuth2, JWT
• Experience with CI/CD
• SQL
