Part-time Chef

PART-TIME CHEF

Seeking a part-time chef on an as-required basis for a private Residence in Oslo (approximately 10 hours per week on average).  The successful applicant will be responsible for the full range of meal planning, shopping, and food preparation, to include:  

• Preparing and monitoring budgets
• Preparing menus, shopping for, and cooking a full range of meals for the employer, family, and guests
• Preparing food and drink for representational events
• Maintaining a wine and drinks inventory and re-ordering when appropriate
• Overseeing and coordinating the activities of events caterers
• Maintaining the kitchen and pantry in an immaculate state
• Performing other duties as required

The successful applicant will be legally eligible to reside and work in Norway; be able to document experience in a similar role; be courteous and presentable; and demonstrate flexibility with regards to working patterns.  A good working knowledge of English is required.
