A major Nordic financial institution is looking for a Corporate Finance Associate or Vice President

The Corporate Finance team within the Investment Banking unit is responsible for M&A and ECM advisory and transactions with Nordic and international clients, as well as working closely with other units such as Debt Advisory and Structured Finance within the bank.

Due to a higher activity level, we are seeking to employ a highly motivated professional with 3-5 years relevant experience. The position will be based in Oslo and offers great career development opportunities and extensive involvement with decision makers in the shipping and offshore space.

As a Corporate Finance Associate/Vice President on the Shipping and Offshore team you will:

• analyze companies and industries and gain broad exposure to different projects and segments within shipping/offshore
• participate in client interaction
• carry out financial modelling and valuation
• draft presentations, documentation and other material in support of new business development and transaction execution
• support deal teams in execution of transactions, both internally and externally towards clients and other advisors

Qualifications:

• relevant degree with outstanding academic results
• 3-5 years of experience from investment banking or other relevant transaction-oriented environment
• experience from working with clients within shipping/offshore is a must
• advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with financial modelling
• excellent verbal and written communication skills in a Scandinavian language as well as English
