Gibbs Glade Villa (GGV) is an immaculate, wonderfully tranquil, very comfortable, spacious 4 bedroom , 4 bathroom villa with its own pool, set in fully enclosed topical gardens. Vaulted ceilings throughout, afford a light & airy feeling.

Courtesy airport transfers, daily housekeeping, regularly changed linens & towels (including beach towels), bathrobes & slippers and WiFi are included in your rental fee. There is a travel cot, high chair with detachable booster seat and a pull out bed can be arranged for children.

Located between Speightstown and Holetown, in the established, upscale neighbourhood known as Gibbs Glade, a short walk to both Gibbs and Mullins Beaches, this detached villa is situated in a central yet peaceful location.

The open plan layout of this single story property is ideal for multi-generational family holidays as well as couples getaways. The wrap-around colonial style verandah affords indoor/outdoor living with ample relaxed seating, as well as alfresco dining. The high ceilings throughout provide a feeling of space which is enhanced by a natural breeze which keeps the property nicely cool. There is also air conditioning and ceiling fans in each room.

Set in a third of an acre with carefully tended gardens the property features an attractive well maintained 20 foot circular swimming pool. with large patio surround with sun loungers and chairs. The landscaping has been planned to provide a high level of privacy. One can enjoy the sun all day long around the pool area and there is natural shade and parasols when you need to take a break from the rays. This east facing oasis enjoys a light welcome breeze....and there is an outside shower for freshening up and for loosingthe sand after your morning dip in the fabulous calm Caribbean seas of Gibbs beach, just a short stroll away.

Each bedroom in the main house has its own bathroom with french doors opening onto the verandah. Large fitted closets provide ample hanging space, shelves, drawers and central vanities in each bedroom. The master bedroom has a digital safe. One double bedroom is located separately in the garden, known as the Garden Suite. It has a double bedroom with an ensuite shower room, with french doors onto the pool area.

The Studio houses a flatscreen HD TV, DVD player, leather sofa, rowing machine, exercise bike, light weights and a yoga mat. There is also a basketball hoop on the fully enclosed front yard where there is parking for 4+ cars.

The idyllic, peaceful Gibbs Beach, perfect for swimming & snorkelling, is just a 4 mins walk away via a cut through. The livelier Mullins Beach, with its bar/restaurant, water sports, large inflatables for the children and sun loungers, is just 5 mins walk via a similar cut through.

The authentic Speightstown, full of Caribbean charm, is approx 5 mins by car with the more vibrant Holetown complete with the stylish Lime Grove centre housing designer shopping, state of the art cinema and a few restaurants is just 10 mins drive.

A car is recommended (but by no means essential) and if required, we can book your hire car at very reasonable rates, with our preferred suppliers, arranging for delivery on your arrival to the villa. GGV provides courtesy airport pick-ups and drop offs included in your rental. Taxis are reasonably priced and for the more adventurous you can travel anywhere on the island by bus for $2 BDS ($1USD!)

There are a few supermarkets within easy driving and a 24 hour petrol station within walking distance (500 meters) which has a wide selection of convenience and food items available. There is a local fish market and fruit & veg stall 5 mins away (to make the most of the super gas barbecue!), plus numerous excellent restaurants and bars all located within a short drive of the villa. A few are within easy walking distance.

The property and gardens are fully enclosed with lockable gates to front. There is automatic 360 degree exterior lighting on the veranda which remains security lit all night. The whole exterior of the property is fumigated frequently to keep mosquitoes and other insects at bay and there are electric mosquito zappers on the rear terrace plus mosquito netting on all windows.

We do not enforce a set check-in/check-out time, but broadly speaking, its around 12:00 and 16:00 although we will always do our best to accommodate guest needs. We do, however ask for your cooperation with Floyd and Averil (our wonderful villa manager and housekeeper ) should we have a same-day turn around.

From start to finish, we will do our utmost to ensure your vacation is as hassle free as possible. Just relax, unwind, soak up the rays and sink into the comforts of Gibbs Glade Villa and enjoy the spectacular ‘platinum' west coast of Barbados ......
