Barnevennlig og sjarmerende leilighet i viktoriansk hus i London

We are a British/Norwegian family living in Oslo. We have an apartment in London that we use a few times a year. The rest of the time it’s available to rent. It is particularly well suited for small families with young children. Sheets/towels etc are provided and the apartment is very well equipped with whatever you might need for a short stay with babies or small children.

It is situated in Camberwell, South London. This lies between Brixton and Peckham but has a quieter more village like feel. It is a 3 minute walk to a bus stop with direct buses to Victoria, London Bridge, Oxford Street, Regents Park and more. There is also a railway station (Denmark Hill) or underground station (Oval) in walking distance. It is overall very well connected and relatively central.

The apartment is on the lower ground floor of a Victorian four story house. It has it’s own entrance down a few steps and a small entrance hall. There is a good sized open plan living area with a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, washer and dryer and microwave. The living room has two sofas and there is a dining area with room for 4-6 people.

The bedrooms are all very small but functional. The master bedroom is 9sqm and has a 150x200 bed and a small ensuite shower room. There are two further childrens bedrooms that are only 6sqm each but work well for small children. One has junior bunkbeds (suitable for children up to 10 years) and the other has a mini cot (suitable for babies up to 18 months) and a 120x200 sofabed. Because of the small size of the room the sofa bed, when is use, takes up most of the room, so we don’t recommend using it for longer stays.

Lastly there is the family bathroom which has a bathtub with a shower over.

The whole apartment has underfloor heating and double glazing and it’s very warm and comfortable to stay in.
