For sale: a modified Game Boy Color, which features a beautiful AMOLED display and USB-C rechargeable battery in a black, see-through shell. Difference with the original Gameboy Color is night and day: the OLED display is significantly bigger, brighter, with deep blacks, vibrant colors and a modern glass laminated display construction. Display settings can be accessed through an on-screen touch menu. The 1500mAh LiPo battery is charged via a USB-C port on the back of the device and good for many hours of gameplay (it's also possible to use regular AA batteries).
This Gameboy is lightly used. Note that there's a crack in the front shell (see pictures). This doen't stand out when you see the device in real life (you can for example not feel the crack when you run your fingers over it). Otherwise this Gameboy is in really nice condition with zero scratches on the display lens. Works entirely as expected!
This Gameboy is better than the original and truly ready for 2025. Built and thoroughly tested, appears like brand new! Feel free to come and have a look. 😊
