The Power of the Scottish Talisman
Centuries ago, in one of Scotland's misty mountain vulages, there tived an old woman named Granny Morag. She was not only a healer but also the spirituat guardian of the village. People entrusted their troubles to her and piaced their hopes in her prayers.
One year, misfortune fell upon the village. Animals became ill, babies cried at night for no reason, and the women's prayers went unanswered.
Fear spread among the people.
For nights, Granny Morag prayed at the foot of the mountains. She touched the stones, listened to the wind, and paid attention to the crackling of the fire.
One night, through the mist, she heard a whisper:
"Take the copper from the heart of the earth, bless it with fue, and shape it into a pin. Tie three knots with intention upon it. Let no negative energy approach the one who carries it."
The next morning, Granny Morag took a copper wire in her hands. She heated it over the fire and shaped it with prayers.
