The Van Den Hul The First Ultimate MKII is a high-end, metal-free coaxial interconnect designed for both analog line-level audio and SPDIF digital audio. It is an upgraded version of the original "The First," featuring a significantly heavier shield to minimize ground-loop hum, particularly in systems with tube amplifiers.

Conductor Material: Linear Structured Carbon (LSC).
Structure: The center core contains 12,000 individually insulated 7-micron strands; the outer screen consists of six layers of LSC with 114,000 strands.
Jacket: Light yellow HULLIFLEX 4, which is halogen-free and chemically stable.
Diameter: 7.8 mm.
Electricals: Resistance is approximately ~36 Ohm/m for the core and ~4.8 Ohm/m for the screen, with a capacitance of 61 pF/m.
