The VSX-LX70 is ready to take full advantage of the audiovisual benefits offered by the latest HD sources like Blu-ray. It uses the newest internal decoders that effortlessly support the latest high-resolution, uncompressed audio formats like Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio – before passing them on to your speaker system with all the clarity and dynamics of the original signal. It delivers high-definition, studio-quality sound that’s true to the original and exactly as the director intended.
4 In / 1 Out HDMI and HDMI Control. The digital HDMI connectivity allows high-definition video signals and multichannel audio (SACD and DVD-Audio) to pass between devices, ensuring a noise-free picture and sound that’s faithful to the original. This lets you connect all your A/V sources to a display with an HDMI input (like a KURO TV) via this amplifier. The amp then acts as a multi-outlet, source selector and analog/digital video converter. Plus, the HDMI 1.3 connectivity allows you to control the VSX-LX70’s main functions using the remote from your KURO television."
