- A knife pocket / system to hang the crampons on the backpack

- A big pocket to put everything you need. Access only from the top.
- Compartment for shovel and probe, easily accessible when needed.
- Sealing skirt on the top of the bag so that all your stuff stays dry even in bad conditions.
Millet's Matrix 30 MBS Backpack is ready for it all. Its Mobility Back System consists of a swivel waist belt that moves with you during the ascent and descent. Pair that with padded 3D mesh at the back, waist, and shoulders, and you're in for a comfy ride. The Matrix also has a pocket configuration specifically designed for anything from ski mountaineering to backcountry touring. There's a compartment with slots for a probe and shovel, and a hydration pocket tucked underneath.
