Good behaviour was shortlisted for the 1981 Booker Prize. (Though it didn't win the Booker the other entries that year included "Midnight's Children" & "The Comfort of Strangers", the first winning both the "Booker of Bookers" in 1993 for the prize's 25th anniversary and "The Best of the Booker" in 2008 for its 40th anniversary ).
This 240 page book is a pleasantly delightful read.
