RARE: Complete Leica IIIg screw mount system from 1956. The last and most advanced Barnack Leica ever made - introduced after the M3 as the ultimate refinement of the screw mount series.
CAMERA:
Leica IIIg (serial 846529) - final evolution of the legendary Barnack design. Advanced viewfinder with bright 50mm/90mm framelines, self-timer, modern 1-1/1000 shutter speeds. Clean viewfinder, accurate shutter, all functions working perfectly. Normal wear for age, excellent working condition.
LENSES (both M39 screw mount):
- Leica Summicron 50mm f/2 Collapsible (M39, serial 1166367) - legendary vintage optics from Leica's golden era. Some scratches on the lens but no fungus, smooth operation. Includes caps.
- Voigtländer Super Wide-Heliar 15mm f/4.5 Aspherical (M39, serial 1950827) - ultra-wide 110° professional lens. Excellent optical and mechanical condition, integrated hood. Architecture/landscape specialist.
ACCESSORIES:
Voigtländer 15mm dedicated viewfinder (hot shoe mount), original Leica burgundy leather case (functional, shows age).
Complete functional M39 system from ultra-wide to normal focal lengths. IIIg's bright 0.72x viewfinder perfect for 50mm/90mm shooting. Perfect match with these M39 lenses - the system they were designed for.
COLLECTOR'S NOTE: The IIIg is the most refined screw mount Leica. While the M3 dominated with its new bayonet mount, the IIIg represented the pinnacle of 25+ years of Barnack evolution. Only 41,589 produced (1956-1960).
