Fermacell 2E22 is a high performance dry screed flooring overlay. It has a 25mm overall thickness and is twin layered comprising of 2x 12.5mm Fermacell gypsum boards. When installing, the boards are lap jointed to ensure minimal to no movement within the floor. Fermacell 2E22 is dry laid and then adhered to one another using Fermacell Greenline Floor Glue and Fermacell Flooring Screws.
Fermacell flooring is great for underfloor heating systems (UFH) as it offers minimal thermal resistance – it is less than half the thermal resistance of cheaper alternatives such as floor grade chipboard or plywood.
Can be used in a range of heavy traffic areas including: offices, hospitals, schools, and hotels.
This product can also be used to solve uneven solid masonry or timber floors. Fermacell Dry Levelling Compound is poured and levelled over the uneven floor first and then this 2E22 board can be installed over the top.
Once installed, Fermacell 2E22 can be directly finished with a range of flooring overlays: tiles, carpet, vinyl, laminate flooring etc.
