Quantum Free builds on the principles and technologies of the rest of the Quantum Touring series, but is even more specialized for downhill riding.
In order to use a stiffer material than is usually possible on similar boots, Dalbello has used a special construction method where the shell is made in two parts before they are attached together.
As with the lighter models, you get extremely good walking performance and an easy transition from walking to driving mode, only the boot is made of a very stiff shell, has strong buckles and inner shoes, and a power strap over the calf.
Combine this with the anatomically designed heel and you get a stiff boot that slips as little as possible and is very light.
