15 Chickens for sale. Probably descendant of Jærhøns but might not be fullbreeds. Have had them foraging and running around for four generations over 6 mål of land. They have very good foraging, anti-predator and mothering instincts. One even fought a sparrowhawk and lived to tell the tale.
Large variety of colours and patterns. Males cooperate to locate food and to watch for predators, although some males should not be sold together.
Henry - pictured white, is coloured white. There is also a male with golden plumage but the rest of the males are normal coloured. These two males sell for 150kr, due to their uniqueness.
Males and hens will ideally be sold together in a group, since I want to slaughter as few as possible. Hence the low price.
Recommend:
- Selling Rooster with Hen: 100kr each
- 3 hens+ with 2 roosters: 90kr each
Rarer/unique roosters: 150kr
