Closed started as a family company and a fashion brand, its precursor “Ca” was founded in 1975 in France 🇫🇷 by Marithé and François Girbaud, and renamed to Closed in 1978, and from that moment on based in Germany 🇩🇪. In addition, Closed is famous for being the creator of the stonewash production process as well as being the first to launch the x-pocket jean. This dress is vintage, most likely from one of their early 1990s collections.
