This book written by the famous Russian archeologist, Doctor of Historical Sciences, laureate of the Makhtumkull International Prize, honorary member of the Greek Anthropological Society, Victor Ivanovich Sarianidi is continuation of the volume "Margush: Ancient Oriental Kingdom in the Old Delta of the Murgab River" published in Ashgabat in 2002.
The reader will learn about new brilliant finds made by Margiana archeological expedition, headed by him, during last three years when scientists managed not only to finish excavations of grandiose palacetemple complex on the Gonurdepe site but to discover nearby royal necropolis.

The dozens of settlement ruins of the newfound civilization stretch east from Anau across the Kara-Kum desert into Uzbekistan and perhaps the northern part of Afghanistan. Dr. Victor Sarianidi of the Institute of Archaeology in Moscow found a distinctive architectural pattern in many of the ruins.
