The Spyderco Para Military 2 is a medium-sized folding knife that is a smaller version of the flagship Spyderco Military model. It combines modern solutions, original design and the highest quality materials. Thanks to this, the knife is a universal and reliable tool, regardless of whether it will be used for light camping tasks or everyday use (EDC).
The Clip Point blade is made of high-quality CPM S30V high-carbon powder steel from the Crucible steelworks. It is a material used mainly in high-end knives, which results directly from both the price and high technical parameters. In order to bring out as many functional features as possible, the Spyderco Para Military 2 has a full, flat cut that guarantees excellent cutting parameters.
The blade does not jam during work, and thanks to the appropriate cutting aggression, it bites smoothly into the cut material. Properly selected blade length makes it a great EDC knife - for everyday use. The Spyderhole patented by Spyderco is used for one-handed opening of the blade. Its diameter of 14 millimeters has been selected so that access to it is convenient and the opening process is smooth and reliable. The operation of the opening mechanism is intuitive and easy for both right and left-handed people.
The large and comfortable handle of the Spyderco Para Military 2 has been made with great attention to details, which affects both aesthetic value and reliability. The structure is based on solid, steel liners, to which linings made of durable G-10 material (pressure pressed glass fiber with phenolic resin) have been bolted. Such a connection guarantees a very high stiffness and thus resistance to stress. The texture of the covers has been selected so that it is not too rough and at the same time guarantees a firm grip even when the hand is wet or wearing a glove. The handle profile is one of the most comfortable EDC knives available on the market. For convenient carrying of the knife in the pocket, a clip is used, which was screwed with three torx screws. You can easily turn it to the other side of the handle. The rear part of the handle also has a clear, large hole for a safety rope, which additionally acts as a distance sleeve ensuring the rigidity of the structure.
