BenQ MP624 XGA 3000 Lumens DLP Projector
BenQ MP624 Overview:
With the BenQ MP624 you can go and show just about anywhere in the world. It can handle power from 100 to 240 V AC at 50 or 60 Hz. (Optional alternative power cord may be required.)
Its OSD (on screen display) can be switched between English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Swedish, Dutch, Turkish, Czech, Portuguese, Thai and Polish.
And the MP624 can process and display video signals in NTSC (the North American TV standard), NTSC 4.43, PAL, PAL-N, PAL-M, PAL-60, SECAM and more than a dozen PC and Mac resolutions. Of course if your programming source provides closed captioning this projector can process and display modes CC1, CC2, CC3 and CC4.
But the MP624 has virtues beyond its flexibility. Economical mode lowers fan noise to below that of a whispered conversation and extends bulb life by 50 percent. Auto Off saves money too. A built in FAQ button projects answers to frequently asked questions right on the screen. And Wall Color Correction corrects the color when you don't have a screen and have to project on to a painted wall or blackboard.
In short, if you can find a place on earth where the MP624 won't get the job done, just bring a sharp stick and draw pictures in the dirt (or icepack) to give your presentation.

With that much brightness and contrast you're assured you'll see vivid, sharp and pure colors every time you use your MP624.
High Definition HDMI and Component Video Ports
Sure the MP624 can do a PowerPoint show from a PC but it's also a great high definition display if you have an HD source like an HDTV or Blu-ray disc player.
XGA (1024 x 768) Native Resolution Plus More
XGA is a very popular resolution but it's not always the right one. So the MP624 supports more than a dozen other PC and Macintosh resolutions too.
Super Quiet Operation And Long Lamp Life in Economical Mode
Benq has engineered fan noise down to a whisper quiet 31 db in Normal mode and an amazing 26 dB in Economical mode. Likewise the very respectable 3000 hour average lamp life in Normal mode is extended out to 4000 hours in Economical Mode.
Texas Instruments DLP Image Panel With BrilliantColor
TI's patented DLP imager features an innovation it calls BrilliantColor. Unlike other technologies such as LCD which use just three primary colors to produce the image, DLP Technology with BrilliantColor uses up to six separate colors.
Color accuracy is paramount to a quality image. BrilliantColor not only improves color accuracy, it brightens secondary colors as well. This combination produces a new level of color performance that increases the brightness of the colors by up to 50% over DLP projectors without BrilliantColor for accurate, true-to-life images.
3-D Color Management
With 3-D Color Management you can individually manage not just three colors (red, green and blue) but six: RGB plus Magenta, Cyan and Yellow. Color management provides fine color control adjustment to allow for more accurate color reproduction, should you require it. It's typically used in permanent home theater installations by experienced videophiles and technicians who have the equipment (a test disc and a device called a colorimeter) to tune colors to the most exacting standards.
Wall Color Correction and 11 Picture Modes
Of course not everyone has a cool home theater. Sometimes you don't even have a decent screen, just a bare wall. The MP624 can correct for four wall colors and to projecting onto a blackboard to bring you a more true to life image. In addition there are a total of 11 picture modes, like Dynamic, for playing video games and Cinema, which is best for watching movies in a darkened room.
Presentation Timer
Tired of listening to subordinates and vendors drone on and on during their over-prepared, statistics-laden presentations? Invite them to use your MP624 and set the Presentation Timer to your liking, say five or ten minutes. You're unlikely to lose much important information but you'll gain a whole lot of time.
Quick Auto Search Finds the Active Input Fast
You often might have multiple inputs plugged in to the projector. Select Quick Auto Search and it will automatically switch to the one that's got the live signal.
