DETAILS
The Selenium by JBL D305 is a 2" exit compression driver for high sensitivity, low distortion and smooth medium frequency response applications. It features assembly without necessity of screws, providing great flexibility in exchanging and guaranteeing bigger protection against humidity. A ferrofliud (Ferrosound) loaded gap reduces heat build-up and offers consistent results over long-term demanding concert usage. The voice coil is made of high temperature wire wound on Kapton® former to withstand high operating temperatures. A precisely engineered diaphragm structure and alignment mechanism for easy, reliable, cost effective repair in case of diaphragm failure.
