H2O is a very user friendly kayak that is constructed to be very efficient. It has a Swedish form, meaning it is wider behind the cockpit and has a long waterline, which lets it achieve a very high pace in relation to width and steadiness. Maximum speed is measured at 9 knots. That makes it one of the fastest kayaks on the market in relation to steadiness. H2O also glides nicely through waves as it has a large bow. It has a large BUNNPROFIL, which gives it less friction through water and is therefore easy to handle at a pace of around 6 knots. The large cockpit of H2O gives it flexibility when it comes to applying different paddle techniques, and also makes it easy to get in and out of. It is just as good for week-long trips as it is for short trips and training sessions. It is well equipped to handle ocean races and has excellent surf abilities. H2O comes with HAVPADLINGSSETE/HAVPADLINGSPEDALER – HAVPADLINGSSETE/RACING SPARKE BRETT – RACING SETE/RACING SPARKE BRETT, LAVT HAVPADLESETE for better stability through rough sea, or higher RACING SETE for better ÅREISETT will lead to a higher pace but make it a bit straighter.
H2O has two spacious hatches and one compartment for smaller items.
H20 also has SeaBird Designs’ unique SELVBERGINGSSYSTEM. This means that it has a pipe behind the cockpit to help fasten UTRIGGERE or PATONGER. More information about this unique system can be found in the safety section.
