RESERVED - Meet Darwin
Darwin is a female sled dog born in mid-June 2017, raised and trained by Petter Karlsson. She has been part of his competitive racing team, with solid experience in long-distance races — including an impressive 2nd place finish at Femundløpet 2020.
An exceptionally skilled lead dog with a huge appetite and a calm, easygoing nature in the dog yard, Darwin never causes trouble and gets along very well with other dogs. While she can be a little shy at first with new people, she’s very sweet and loyal once she feels comfortable.
She’s in excellent health, comes with a passport, and is up to date on vaccinations. She’s not spayed and has had a litter before — her offspring are currently part of my racing team and have turned out really well.
Darwin is out of a Finnmarksløpet champion and would make a strong addition to a breeding program, a team of young dogs looking to learn from a top lead dog, or even continue in long-distance competition in a more relaxed.
