◆Instrumentation amplifier" configuration power amplifier
The entire power amplifier, including the signal input stage, is configured as a balanced amplifier to achieve balanced signal transmission from the input terminal to the output stage. This provides superior performance in terms of noise rejection and low distortion, as well as resistance to changes in the surrounding environment, further improving the stability and reliability of the power amplifier.
◆Further advanced "MCS+" circuitry
The power amplifier section is equipped with the "MCS+" circuit, which is a further developed version of the Accuphase original MCS circuit that improves various characteristics by connecting identical circuits in parallel. The MCS+ circuit improves the stability of the circuit and realizes further noise reduction.
◆Power MOSFETs and 3-parallel push-pull power units guarantee 120W/2 ohms, 60W/4 ohms, and 30W/8 ohms per channel linear power.
Large heat sinks are provided to handle the heat generated by Class-A operation, resulting in a high output power of 150W/ch (limited to music signals), even in a 1Ω ultra-low impedance speaker system, with sufficient margin in the design.
◆Current feedback" amplification circuitry for superior high-frequency phase characteristics and sound quality
The "current feedback" amplifier circuit returns the output signal in the form of electric current. The "current feedback" amplification circuit provides a natural energy response in terms of sound quality and excellent dynamic characteristics such as rise time.
Balanced input for low susceptibility to external inductive noise.
Instrumentation amplifier gain control reduces residual noise.
Upgradable to 300W/2 ohms (music signal), 240W/4 ohms, or 120W/8 ohms monophonic amplifier with bridge connection
