The Aphex 10/4 Audio Level Interface, Model 124A, is a dual, bi-directional buffer amplifier designed to provide level and impedance matching between consumer hi-fi equipment and professional, as well as industrial, audio systems. It features a simple, high-quality interface design without added noise, distortion, or instability that can result from an improper hookup. It is designed to allow use of -10dBV consumer hi-fi equipment with +4 or +8dBm professional/industrial/broadcast audio systems. It provides an extremely clean, reliable two-way buffer so both systems can operate at maximum performance levels, matching impedances and operating levels.
The Model 124A is ideal for interfacing with digital disc and tape recorders, audio cassette recorders, graphic equalizers, reverb and ambience devices, noise reduction systems, electronic crossovers and power amplifiers.
