I’ve made the painful decision to sell what is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful motorbikes ever made.

I’ve owned her for 8 years, and we’ve shared many great memories—as you can see from the photos. She’s now officially a veteran, which makes it even harder to let her go. It’s with a heavy heart that I’m making this decision, but it’s time for this classic to find a new owner who can give her the attention she deserves.

A couple of years ago, towards the end of the season, she developed an issue while I had my daughter on the back. She started slipping out of second gear under acceleration. After looking into it, I was told it’s likely due to wear on a pin that engages the second gear cog. The part itself isn’t expensive, but accessing it requires splitting the engine to get to the gearbox. I was quoted around 20,000 NOK just for the labour 😕

Not being very mechanically minded, I ended up buying another bike and carried on riding 😎 I’ve taken this one out a few times since just to keep her running, but the truth is she’s not being used and is now just sitting there gathering dust 😢😢

She has been well serviced during my ownership, and I have receipts to prove it. Happy to share these if there’s genuine interest.

This is a rare bike in Norway—you don’t see many of them around. In the right hands, this is a great opportunity. With a bit of work and a clean-up, she has the potential to be a very desirable collectible classic and could be worth quite a bit more.

So if someone has the time, tools, and skills to bring her back to her former glory, I’d be very happy to see that happen.
