Unique truck with a brand new solid wood cabin and a brand new tail lift for maximum flexibility. The cabin is "naked" and ready for an individual design by the owner. Due to the long axle distance of 4.2m the vehicle looks attractive due to the long, 20ft cabin.Vehicle:Ex firetruck Mercedes Benz 1120 4x2 with only 11xxxkm (original) on the clock and only 2 owners. The vehicle ist completely rust free and both engine and transmission are without oil leaks. Registered as an oldtimer/veteran/historic with low yearly taxes and can drive in emission zones. The vehicle is in a very good almost new condition and the drivers compartment still smells new.Model: Mercedes Benz 1120F (F fore firetruck)Engine: OM366 LA. 205 HP with turbo and intercooler. 640Nm. 6 liter displacement and 6 cylinders. Direct injection - no pre heating. No electronics, no particulate filter, no add-blue.Registration papers: There is a German and a Danish registration paper. The truck is registered as a truck with cargo load since the cabin is detachable and not fixed to the frame. It is not registered as a camper van. The truck has two seats but 3 seats are registered in the papers since 1 person can sit on the engine casing.Fuel consumption: Approx. 20 liters pr 100km at 80 kmh.Transmission: The differential was changed to a "long" differential enabling the truck to drive at +120 kmh. At 80kmh the engine turns at 1800rpm to reduce noise and fuel consumption. The truck only has 4x2 and differential locks and is therefore probably not suitable for an African cross country trip thorugh mud and rivers.Fuel tank: The fuel tank is small, only 70 liters but can of course be replaced.Tires: The tires are standard 22,5" with a max tread, the rubber has no cracks and feels supple and new. 1 brand new spare wheel.Weight: The total weight is 12 ton. Additionally a Ringfeder hook to attach a 12 ton trailer so the combined vehicle weight is 24 ton.Air pressure: The air pressure system is basically leak free. It takes about 1 month to go from 8 bars to 0 bars. Pressure building takes 1-2 minutes from empty.Support frame: The support frame for the cabin is not an advanced 3 point or 4 point military offroad frame. It is a simple spring frame.Drivers compartment: The seats are almost new and they smell new. The parts have been designed in a 3D software and professionally laser cut, CNC bent etc. Similar design can be found when searching for "Zirbenbox" and "Bumo". The cabin is made 100% out of natural materials: Solid wood and wood fiber insulation. Everything can be disassembled and assembled to the tiniest part since everything has been screwed. There are no uses of nails and glue. The owners can therefore choose the location of new windows and chimney if needed without destroying anything. The cabin is placed on a 120mm support frame and fixed by means of 4 container twist locks. The cabin has the exact same dimensions as international 20ft shipping containers. Therefore the cabin can always be replaced by another container if needed.Cabin design:The cabin has a door left and right with Securit glass and polymer foil to ensure maximum ventilation in the summer but also to faciliate access on the road depending on where the vehicle has been parked. Additional 2 big barn doors in the rear. Moreover a new tail lift for 750kg which can be operated manually but also wireless. The lift can also be used as a patio.Wall design (outside->inside): 20mm siberial larch in rhombus profile design (will never rot), 10mm wooden back ventilation strips, Würth wind/water foil, 60mm Steicoflex wood fiber insulation, 14mm interior wood profiles. Vertical support members every 60cm. Floor design (outside->inside): 120mm wooden girders, 25mm wooden floor, in between 120mm Steicofex wood fiber insulation. Roof design (ouside->inside): 3D roof (Solidworks) with 12mm siberian larch, 10mm ventilation strips, Würth foil, wooden trusses 100-140mm, 14mm interior wood (like the walls).
