A family-run hotel in Norway is looking for a breakfast chef/attendant

The Hotel is a charming family hotel and an attraction in itself, located in the middle of the world`s best tourist destination.

As a Breakfast Chef, you are responsible for the overall success of the Hotel's breakfast service. It is important that you have a good understanding of efficient operations and a good ability to plan and structure your work. Versatility and flexibility are key.

  Prepare a variety of high-quality breakfast items.

  Ensure that all buffet items are presented in an organized and attractive manner, maintaining the highest standards of food presentation.

  Cook small breakfast items a la carte style.

  Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a well-stocked and organized buffet station throughout service hours.

  
  
• 
  

  Monitor food quality and ensure that all items are prepared and served according to established standards.

  Oversee food safety and hygiene protocols, maintaining a clean and sanitized buffet area at all times.

  
  
• 
  

  Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure the availability of fresh ingredients and necessary items for buffet service.

  Serve hotel guests.

  
  

Good time management and a good attitude are way more important than experience😊

Qualification requirements

· You speak fluent English

· You have knowledge of tourism and have good communication skills

· You preferably have experience in service

· You are used to using a PC and have good computer knowledge

Position: Breakfast Chef

Working period: ASAP - 15.10.2024

Accommodation: 4500 NOK/month, New staff house, which is only 500 meters from the hotel. Own bedroom, shared common rooms. This sum includes everything (bedding, electricity, internet, staff food on the days you are at work.

Salary: 220.00 - 230.00 NOK/h

Average working hours is 168.00 / month

The approximate salary with normal hours is 230.00 * 168 * 12.00% = 43276.80 NOK before taxes (~25.00)

Salary additions

Overtime addition 50.00 %

Vacation addition 12.00 %

National holiday addition 100.00 %

Overtime and vacation money will be paid at the end of the contract.
