A charming hotel in Rogaland is seeking a talented and creative à la carte chef to join teir team and help further develop their culinary concept.


They pride themselves on an excellent kitchen, which emphasizes the use of fresh, local ingredients, including produce from their own garden just outside the kitchen.


They offer exquisite 3- and 4-course dinners for tourists and simpler lunch menus for local workers.


The hotel operates year-round, accommodating between 2 to 90 guests. During the summer, typically 30-50 guests daily, while in the off-season, they host 10-15 guests per day.




Requirements


Minimum 4 years of experience in an à la carte kitchen


Familiarity with HACCP guidelines


Proficiency in English


Excellent communication skills


Solution-oriented mindset


Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

If the first 3 months go well, then the contract can be prolonged to a permanent contract based on performance. With the possibility of transitioning to the head chef.


The head chef must be able to organize the operation of the kitchen with ordering, planning menus, and work + creative development of the kitchen.

Working period: ASAP - 31.08.2024


Accommodation: 3000 NOK/month - staff house. Own bedroom. The kitchen, bathroom and common living area are shared.


Food: Free on working days (staff food, 1 time)


Salary: 230.00 - 250.00 NOK/h


Average working hours is 162.50 / month




Salary additions


Sunday addition 25.75 NOK/Hour


Overtime addition 50.00 %


Saturday addition 25.75 NOK/Hour


Vacation addition 12.00 %


Night time addition 47.41 NOK/Hour


Evening time addition 13.55 NOK/Hour


National holiday addition 100.00 %


Overtime and vacation money will be paid at the end of the contract.
