We are looking for a Structure Engineer. Our Structure Engineers are responsible for providing engineering solutions as part of a SSE project taskforce, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.Job Description
The Structure Engineer works within the discipline Structure Engineering with assigned project tasks. Structure Engineering comprise the following competencies: 3D modelling, linear FEA, structural/mechanical design and stress calculation, steel design and fabrication, composite material design and fabrication, marine operations and pipelay.
Main tasks:
Perform engineering work related to design, procurement, manufacturing and installation within the discipline Structure Engineering as assigned.
Typical tasks:

• Seafastening design
• Write and review detail design reports for installation aids, temporary steel structures and permanent structures
• Ancillary equipment design- Technical follow up of subcontractors
• Provide support to procurement
• Mentor new structure engineers

You are meant for this job if:

• Bachelor degree with 2-5 years of relevant experience / Master degree with 0-3 years of relevant experience
• Strong technical basis in engineering
• Project management skills
• Presentation and coaching skills
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills
• Service/Customer oriented
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Good command of English
• Enjoy a mix of theory and "hands-on" engineering
• Value the opportunity to follow the an idea from napkin sketch to completed product
