Chef Wanted near Stavanger

Are you a passionate chef who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment?

A small hotel outside Stavanger is looking for a great chef. The hotel is located next to the sea and has 30 rooms with an amazing view, a conference department and a restaurant.

Fish and shellfish are the main ingredients on their menu.

The tasks mainly consist of contributing to the daily operation of the kitchen, preparation and production of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Mainly a la carte, but also some conference menus as well as weddings and other parties.

Chefs work mostly in the kitchen alone, so independence is crucial.

To be considered for this position, you should have a professional culinary degree and at least 3 years of experience working in a professional kitchen as a chef. You should be highly organized and able to work efficiently under pressure.

You should be positive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

The contract can be prolonged until October if both sides are happy.

Working period: 10.06.2024 - 30.09.2024

Accommodation: 630.83 NOK/month - own room in a hotel with own bathroom. The room has no windows

Salary: 230.00 - 240.00 NOK/h

Average working hours is 162.50 / month

Salary additions

Sunday addition 25.75 NOK/Hour

Overtime addition 50.00 %

Saturday addition 25.75 NOK/Hour

Vacation addition 12.00 %

Night time addition 47.41 NOK/Hour

Evening time addition 13.55 NOK/Hour

National holiday addition 100.00 %

Overtime and vacation money will be paid at the end of the contract.
