Fru Haugans Hotel is looking for a new Sous Chef

Fru Haugans Hotel, the oldest hotel in Northern Norway needs a new sous chef, full time position. Our team consists of between 9 chefs from around Europe (Norway, Spain, Poland, Bulgaria and more).

If you have minimum 6 years experience as a chef, passion for food, you have positive attitude, are a hard worker, this is the job for you!

We expect from you:

• 6 years of experience as a chef
• Experience with a la carte and banquet (20-500 guests)
• Speak very good english

We prefer (but not a requirement)

• Diploma as a chef
• Norwegian language orally and in writing
• Responsible for apprentice (requires Norwegian language)

The hotel is located in the Northern parts of Norway in the region called Helgeland.

The hotel has been offering travellers a good night's sleep since 1794. Ever since 1885, when Ellen Haugan purchased and revitalised the establishment, the hotel and its restaurants have been owned and operated by the same family to 2023. The coastal town of Mosjøen is at the heart of scenic Helgeland. With this hotel as your base, you have easy access to the many sights of the Helgeland coast, as well as the mountain wilderness and other inland attractions.
