Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience: Ideally from an accounting firm or similar role. Has practical experience with accounting processes and systems.
• Broad experience with a strong understanding of finance: Able to interpret and analyze financial data and contribute to informed decision-making.
• Proficiency in either Norwegian or English: Strong written and verbal skills in one of these languages.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment: Efficiently manages a dynamic workload with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Arbeidsoppgaver

The Accountant will be responsible for the overall accounting of the company's headquarters and its current branches. Accurate and relevant accounting information is essential for the headquarters and branches to have optimal oversight and be operated in a professional manner.

Our future Accountant will be required to provide monthly assessments on how the companies are progressing. They will also serve as an important conversation and sparring partner for the chain's administration and branch managers.

General Responsibilities:

• Prepare budgets, annual financial statements, and other financial reports.
• Handle full-cycle accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monthly reporting and year-end closing (Tax documents - Public accounting).
• Daily accounting entries.
• Invoicing - Reconciliations. Remittances, lease follow-up, etc.
• Tasks typical of an accounting office.
• Maintain master data and further develop our systems and processes.
• General office duties as required.
